This course integrates the principles and techniques of archaeology with the search for and recovery of human remains and other material evidence typical in crime scene investigations. Over the term, we will explore the medico-legal world of clandestine graves, international investigations of crimes against humanity, and the search, recovery and interpretation of evidence for recent and not so recent past events.
